Outside is a large terrace completely surrounding the pool and there are ample sun loungers and patio furniture. Also outside is the utility/storeroom which houses the washing machine and ironing requisites, extra fridge/freezer to chill those essential drinks, and the cushions and parasols for the outdoor furniture. A flight of steps go up to the sun terrace to give fabulous views towards the pink Salina.

The villa is located in an established, peaceful area but within 10 - 15 minutes walking distance of many restaurants, bars with live music, banks and a supermarket. You're only a 10 minute drive to Quesada where you will find many facilities, the Marquesa Golf course and Aqua park which is well worth a visit. The beach is a 15 minute drive to Guardamar's Blue Flag Beaches with 11 kilometers of soft glorious sand.

Torrevieja which is 5 minutes offers a vast choice of activities including water sports, an Aqua Park, tennis and boat trips. There is a zoo and beautiful Palm park in the ancient city of Elche and the historic towns of Murcia and Orihuela can be reached within 45 and 20 minutes respectively by car or bus. There is a very good local market every Friday and another very popular market nearby every Sunday. Alicante itself is also very popular.

Although a car is not essential we recommend it for convenience and touring the area.
